The William Pengelly Cave Studies Trust is a charity devoted to
- The study of the cave environment
- Educational programmes related to cave studies
- Cave conservation.
It was created in 1962 and became a charity in 1970. It operates a study Centre in Devon where it offers a wide range of activities and publications, manages a residential facility and maintains a library and museum. It is wholly run by volunteers.
The Trust has many links with a number of other organisations in the UK and across the world. It works closely with the Devon Wildlife Trust and is a constituent member of the British Caving Association.
