Copepod (Acanthocyclops sp.)

An aquatice crustacean found in pools in the dark zone of Rift and Reed's Cave; similar to freshwater forms above ground.

Springtails (Collembola)

Found in colonies on the surface of pools in Joint Mitnor Cave; probably present in all Buckfastleigh Caves.
